OTTO’s opportunity:

Our Document Control Clerk II is responsible for providing support to OTTO’s Document Control system.

Note: Experience working in a manufacturing environment managing engineering documents, Bills of Material, control plans and manufacturing documentation is a must; additionally, auditing/financial/accounting experience is not applicable to this position.

Specifically, the Document Control Clerk II will:

  • Responsible for the maintenance of all OTTO drawings and ISO documentation.
  • Primary back-up for Senior Document Control Clerk.
  • Provide company support for document generation and assist coworkers in adherence to procedures.
  • Enter Product/Process deviations into network databases and save files/support to network drives.
  • Create, update, and maintain OTTO’s machining/stamping/molding routers and control plans as directed
  • Create, update, and maintain OTTO’s production routers and control plans as directed.
  • Assure current routers and control plans are available to users thru OTTO’s business system.
  • Responsible for generating quality documentation, data analysis and reports on an as needed basis.
  • Participate in the maintenance of OTTO’s ISO 9001, AS9100 and ISO 14001 registrations.
  • Provide support and advise staff.
  • Assist in the maintenance of OTTO’s calibration program, including gathering and filing documentation associated with external calibration activities
  • Participate in ISO record archive program.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the company RoHS and REACH data and information.
  • Assist with other related duties as required or assigned.

What you’ll need to bring to the table:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years Engineering/ Document Control experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Availability for nonstandard or extended work hours.
  • Computer literate in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.
  • Requires self-motivation and ability to complete projects with strict guidelines.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Requires the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9000, ISO 14001 and AS9100.

What OTTO offers for this specific position:

The hiring range listed in this posting is what we, in good faith, anticipate relying on when confirming an hourly rate for this position; exceptions may be considered for highly experienced candidates with multiple years of at-level experience.

  • Target hourly hiring range: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
  • Profit Sharing Bonus - OTTO believes that it’s fair to share the profits that the employees help to make; profit sharing is distributed to employees twice a year. OTTO’s profit sharing plan is paid at the discretion of the company and is not a guaranteed bonus or any part of a compensation plan.
  • Vacation: five days after 30 days of employment and 80 hours at 1 year - vacation time is earned on the anniversary date.
