Die Setter / Pressroom Lead

OTTO’s opportunity:
Our Die Setter / Pressroom Lead is responsible for assisting in the press room.
Specifically, the Die Setter / Pressroom Lead:
- Sets-up and operates punch presses
- Sets-up and operates roll feeds and servo feeds
- Sets-up, operates, and repairs air feeds
- Interprets blueprints
- Prepares and conducts annual review of employees
- Follows OSHA regulations
- Attends Quality Metrics meetings to learn function on OTTO’s products
- Assists with other related duties as required or assigned
What you’ll need to bring to the table:
- Trade school or community college certificate
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Die Setter
- Experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably in Metal Stamping
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
- Operates computer at a basic level
- Proficient in the use of Gage Talker software and Syteline
- Proficient in SPC and Just-in-Time (JIT) manufacturing
- Ability to lift and move 90 lbs. with assistance as necessary
- Ability to push 200lbs. On wheeled carts with assistance as necessary
- Ability to use various inspection gauges such as a micrometer, caliper, gage pins, and an optical comparator
- Must be available for mandatory overtime or non-standard or extended work schedule
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Good follow-up skills
