Sales Internship – Controls
OTTO’s opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Intern to join our Sales Department. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales, competitive analysis, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a passion for sales and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
Specifically, the Sales Intern will:
- Support the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and contracts
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and client calls
- Help maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system
- Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities
- Conduct SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) to assess the company's position in the market
- Create GAP Matrix to identify new products and opportunities for improvement
- Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies and campaigns
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including data entry, scheduling, and follow-up communications
- Collaborate with other departments as needed to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
What you’ll need to bring to the table:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- Strong interest in sales and business development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
