Human Resources Coordinator

OTTO’s opportunity:

Our Human Resources Coordinator will assist in recruiting and payroll processing along with general support to the Human Resources Department.

Specifically, the Human Resources Coordinator will:

  • Recruit for hourly positions, including production
  • Assist with job postings, interview scheduling, drug tests, and background checks
  • Attend job fairs
  • Assist with onboarding of new employees
  • Review payroll timesheets, gather necessary documents, and write reports
  • Act as a backup for payroll processing
  • Help plan and set up for company events – annual picnic, company lunches, and various parties
  • Address employee inquiries and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Perform routine filing, scanning and archiving records to ensure record retention compliance
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR Department
  • Assist with other related duties as required or assigned

What you’ll need to bring to the table:

  • Associate’s degree in human resources or related field required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Spanish proficiency is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills, prioritizing tasks to successfully meet deadlines
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • One to three years of recruiting and payroll experience
  • Effective communication skills, oral and written
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; UKG and Breezy HR ATS experience is a plus

The hiring range listed in this posting is what we, in good faith, anticipate relying on when confirming an hourly rate for this position; exceptions may be considered for highly experienced candidates with multiple years of at-level experience.

  • Target hourly hiring range: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
  • Profit Sharing Bonus - OTTO believes that it’s fair to share the profits that the employees help to make; profit sharing is distributed to employees twice a year. OTTO’s profit sharing plan is paid at the discretion of the company and is not a guaranteed bonus or any part of a compensation plan.
  • Vacation: five days after 30 days of employment and 80 hours at 1 year - vacation time is earned on the anniversary date.
